Gujarat Titans went into the IPL 2026 mini-auction with a purse of INR 12.90 crore. They had most of their bases covered and needed to plug minor gaps at the much-awaited event, which was held at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Last season, Shubman Gill-led Titans made it to the playoffs. They were ousted by the Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 1. The former champions retained five players and traded one last month. The Titans had a quiet auction but managed to acquire the services of the experienced Jason Holder. Young Rajasthan seamer Ashok Sharma, who has been touching the 150 kph mark quite often in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, was also a tactical buy from them.
