India’s biggest pan-Indian superstar Prabhas recently headlined the fantasy horror film The Raja Saab, which hit theatres as a Sankranthi 2026 release. Directed by Maruthi, the film was mounted on a massive scale with a strong star cast and a high budget. However, despite the expectations, the movie failed to connect with theatrical audiences and underperformed at the box office.

The makers have officially confirmed that The Raja Saab will begin streaming on Jio Hotstar from February 6, 2026. The announcement has been made on the platform’s official listing page.

The movie will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, while the Hindi version is excluded from this digital release.

Although the film’s OTT rights were initially expected to fetch a higher value, Jio Hotstar acquired the streaming rights at a reduced price, following the movie’s underwhelming theatrical performance. The platform reportedly pushed for an early release, but due to pre-existing agreements, the premiere date was locked for early February.
